RE-invent your Wardrobe

Breathe new life into your wardrobe! With Jodys expert tuition and guidance you will learn ways to recreate existing garments, transforming them from tired-has-beens into edgy one-of-a-kinds. Discover the Fashion Designer within and create personalised garments that will fit and suit you perfectly. This exciting series of workshops will change the way you sew forever!
All levels of sewing skill welcome and a recently serviced sewing machine is required.

To REstyle, RE-create & RE-invent existing garments. Working on an individual basis Jody enables & encourages each person to develop & create at a pace they are comfortable with.
To investigate & interpret how to utilize a piece/pieces of clothing in a creative, effective & efficent way, achieving a wearable outcome which best suits the individual.
Students will acquire basic sewing , garment & pattern construction techniques during the duration of the course,. while enjoying the challenge and freedom of sewing outside the lines.

Playing with Patterns

Bring along your favourite fabric & pattern stash and create those garments you've always wanted! With Jodys expert tuition and guidance you will learn how to decipher a commercial pattern learning along the way how to get the best fit while taking the first steps to creating your new wardrobe. During these no-fuss fear-free classes you will acquire basic pattern making and garment construction techniques, gaining the confidence and skill to create garments that you want to wear...forever!
Some sewing skills and a recently serviced sewing machine are required.

Playing with Patterns is in 2 categories, Garment Copying & Commercial Pattern.
You will receive reasonable boundaries to work within when selecting what to bring along to class.
You can bring items from both categories at any time.

As with any of my workshops the aim is to find your creative voice allowing you to make garments you want to wear.
